The Last Living Drafter of The Charter of Rights & Freedoms Files Lawsuit in Federal Court

Brian Peckford, the former premier of Newfoundland, is the last surviving signatory of the 1982 Constitution and the Charter of Rights & Freedoms. He is the main applicant in a lawsuit filed January 26, 2022 in Federal Court to cancel the federal government’s vaccine passport requirements for air travellers claiming Canadians rights have been infringed.
